Toilet facility at Ningo Ahwiam Municipal Assembly Basic School.

At Heritage Hands Foundation, we believe that quality education goes hand in hand with dignity, health, and opportunity. That is why, in partnership with Rainbow Trust Foundation, we recently completed the construction of a 6-seater modern toilet facility and a mechanized borehole for the Ningo Ahwiam Municipal Assembly Basic School.

For years, students and teachers at the school faced daily challenges due to a lack of proper sanitation and access to safe water. Many children, especially girls, struggled to focus on learning because of poor hygiene facilities. With this new project, the school and surrounding community now have a clean, safe, and reliable water source, along with modern toilet facilities that restore dignity and improve health. This milestone is more than just infrastructure — it is a step towards achieving Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG-4): Inclusive and Equitable Quality Education and Lifelong Learning for All.

But this is only the beginning. Across Ghana, many schools continue to struggle with similar challenges that limit children’s ability to learn and thrive. We cannot stop here. With your partnership and support, Heritage Hands Foundation can expand this impact to reach more schools and communities in need. Together, we can provide not just classrooms, but the essential foundations of health, dignity, and opportunity that make learning possible.

While this project has brought dignity, health, and opportunity to one school, countless others across Ghana still face the same challenges. Join us in transforming lives — support our next project today and help us bring hope, clean water, and better education to more children and communities in need!
