In a vibrant and heartwarming ceremony held at the Kpando Gadza M/A Basic School, the revered Development Queenmother of the Oseawuo Division of the Akyem Abuakwa Traditional Area, Nana Akosua Agyapomaa Asare I, made a powerful impact with her generous donation of books and educational materials to support the newly established school library. As President of the Heritage Hands Foundation and C.E.O. of Rainbow Trust Foundation, Nana Akosua has been instrumental in promoting literacy and academic advancement across 10 regions in Ghana. She expressed her delight in contributing to the educational journey of the children of Kpando Gadza and emphasized that the books are aimed at enriching the minds and broadening the knowledge of young learners. This initiative, made possible in partnership with “Book Aid International”, the major partner of the foundation, reflects a united effort to provide lasting educational resources to underserved communities. She further assured the community that follow-up visits would be made to ensure the materials are being used effectively for their intended purpose.

The donation ceremony, held under the distinguished auspices of Mama Kodzogasi II, Queen Mother of Kpando Gadza, brought together a rich tapestry of traditional and community leaders, including Mamaga Nyakua Tsimafonya I of Sovie and Mama Fafa Adobea IV of Akato Wudoaboa in the Aflao Traditional Area. Nana Akosua Agyapomaa Asare I took the opportunity to sincerely thank Mama Kodzogasi II for her initiative in reaching out to secure the donation for her community. The event was not only a celebration of generosity but also a symbol of unity and shared commitment to the future of the Ghanaian child.

The entire Kpando Gadza community — from traditional authorities to parents, teachers, and students — showed immense gratitude for the donation and offered heartfelt prayers for Nana Akosua and her foundations. The Heritage Hands Foundation and the Rainbow Trust Foundation continue to remain focused on their noble mission: transforming lives through education. As Nana Akosua passionately declared, “Education is the key to development,” and her actions in Kpando Gadza stand as a shining example of that vision in motion.
